I bought a 10E second hand a couple years back and I thought it was all there - but the coupling kit was missing one crucial part - the singular coupling from the headstock to the bandsaw.
I am trying to find one. If anyone knows where I might find one (Not currently on Ebay that I can find.) I would be grateful for the help.
Also if anyone has a setup with the bandsaw on it I would love a picture of it so I could see if maybe I am just missing something. I also can't find the manual for the bandsaw setup anywhere online so I can't tell if maybe I am just getting it wrong.
thanks all!

there is an adapter currently on the bay. it will probably have ended by the time you see this, however the pictures may be of some value to you. bob

Check http://www.mcmaster.com/ for alignment couplings. I find the following coupling will work as they closely match the length and diameter of the original coupling (approx 2" in length and 1 1/4" in diameter).
6408K127 $3.39 Metal Hub 2 needed 5/8" bore
6408K73 $2.02 Spider 1 needed
If you buy and don't like the couplings, I will trade you an original one for them. I have used this setup when I was cutting metal with the bandsaw. These work real good when the input and output shafts are different diameters like 5/8" to 1/2".

I have a couple images of the machine that might help. (Sorry all - I was not receiving the subscription updates for some reason (spam blocker probably) so I missed all this.)
However I have some photos and realized I am in possession of an ER NOT an E if it matters too much...
Thanks all for the help. (And yes - I am still trying to clean it up. I just finished cleaning up the tubes the best I could and the headstock actually slides on it now :) )
Chris
And sorry - I was using the wrong term - I am not looking for the coupling but the plastic piece in the middle.

I don't own an E or an ER, but won't the Mark V Power Coupler fit there?

You only need the Mark V plastic coupling. Your 10ER has been updated/modified to use the Mark V bandsaw, jig saw, scroll saw, belt sander and strip sander. I am not sure about the Mark V joiner as I believe it needs a higher speed than the 10ER max speed.
The 10E/10ER does have a unique jigsaw (unique coupling that I believed you wanted) that bolts to the headstock and a 4E joiner (belts and pullys) that only operates on the 10ER.

You all are the best thanks so much.
I hope to post some shots of my machine and accoutrements . I hope I will be able to play "what's that part?' and see what I learn from all you who have been using this thing for years :)
Thanks all.
