And that is Dap Weldwood contact adhesive I believe.
The parts list for the belsander shows that sleeve as part of an assembly, looked like it wasn't available separtely. There wasn't a part number for it. Learn something new at least weekly. :)

Thanks for the suggestions. I had thought about using contact cement for the drive sleeve but the sleeve needs to be stretched and fitted over the drum. I didn't think I could do that with the instant bond of contact cement. So I ordered a tube of 3M industrial rubber adhesive #4799 and will try that.

even with the bandsaw tires the contact cement that is furnished by shopsmith is not used as a "contact" cement but merely as an adhesive to attach the tires.
