Good Morning-

I know that we have had this discussion before and I know that I'm preaching to the choir. Although internet sales is evidently where Shopsmith is heading, I really wish that the catalogs would be mailed to owners. There are many times that using a computer is inconvenient and it would help in budgeting money for future purchases. While I have no issues with online purchasing, there are times when the catalogs have really come in handy. I think the last catalog came to me last year. Before anyone tells me to call customer service to process requests, I have been there, done that and was on hold for 30 minutes. No one answered and I hung up in frustration. I still believe that Shopsmith is missing the boat by not considering those owners who do not use computers for whatever reason.

I think you can downlaod the catalog and save it to your computer.

You can download the catalog but that doesn't give you a hard copy unless you are also inclined to print all 93 pages.

Furthermore, if you have a copy of the Father's Day catalog - all you will receive is a catalog with a different set of cover pages. The latest catalog, which I received at the TA last month, is a reprint of the Father's Day version.

Over the past 2 months I have called Shopsmith (1-800-762-7555) 5or 6 times to ask a question or to order parts, while I have been rebuilding my headstock. I haven't had to hold more then a few minutes each time, and I requested a catalog and got it about 2 weeks later. Maybe you just happened to call on a busy day, when ever I called whoever it was that I talked to was very helpful and pleasant.
