Sorry folks, but I have agree with Doug.
At the end of Sept, I ordered a sale item, the two bearing quill. A few days later I received two connector tubes. So that means two customers received the wrong item, extra phone time, order picking and FOUR EXTRA shipping charges. YES they corrected the problem, but it took EXTRA time and money for them to do it.
I wonder how much of CS's day is correcting problems and what that cost in lost orders?

Just looked up a couple of backorders and saw that one was shipped from last week. I'm interested to see what it's like when I get home after tonights school swim meet.

I too have had items back ordered and in a week or two I got them. Does anyone know if the items are being shipped from ShopSmith are being shipped from the place of manfacture or are being shipped out of the Shopsmith building. This could account for some of the mistakes being made.
I checked on a BO from 27 Oct, status was "not shipped yet". Called CS and talked with Jan and it seems to me, that "the squeekie wheel get oiled again".

Yesterday evening, I ordered 4 items, and I checked my order status a few minutes ago, and it shows shipped. I was surprised, usually doesn't happen that fast.

Actually, that is the way it used to be all of the time and I have faith that once again it will be that way again.

Pat, Dusty and Shopsmith,
Thank you so much for restoring my faith in Americans. I love reading positive thoughts and actions. Times are tough for most of the people in our world today. It's thrilling for me to see folks able to buy goods and services and even more exciting that a valued vendor is able to ship the goods we desire. What a great way to be thankful during this season of giving thanks. fjimp:)
