I just learned a new (to me) trick for surfing the various Shopsmith threads. I thought it was a neat trick. Many of you have probably been doing this forever.

So much about computers is absolutely new to me.

Anyway: With any of the forum indices open on your screen, if you want to view the contents of one of them simply right click on the title of the thread.

Doing so brings up a new window. In that window, click on "Open Link in a New Window". If that thread is something you want to save for later offline reference you can "Save Link As".

Oh well. I thought it was a great discovery.

Depending on which browser you use, holding control and clicking the link will open that page up in a new tab. I think it is easier. You can have a lot of tabs open and switch between them.

Yup, that works in both IE and Firefox. Guess it wasn't a secret except from me.

One of these days I'll just have to sit down and click on everything. There is no telling what I might learn.
