So how many of you take advantage of the woodworking tips from Woodsmith/Shopnotes? The one posted today seem like a good idea, I hope they don't mind if I share the URL with you.

I do use some of their tips. In fact I plan to use the one you posted for my next project - storage cabinets for the shop. I usually save them all in a folder in my e-mail.
Unfortunately, I have a nasty habit of then forgetting to use them for a while and then they become just so much clutter on my computer because I don't go back and review them. I bet if I did there are enough small projects to keep me busy for the next year catching up. Say, there's an idea! I'll do that just as soon as I get those cabinets made for the shop so I can put stuff away and have working space again.:D

Thank you, Ed. Never visited their web site. I will have to go look at some more of those. More computer time, just what I needed.

I have more trouble getting the assembly squared up after I find out is isn't true. Which diagonal do you clamp and what is the best way to do it? I usually find that pressure on the longest diagonal will solve the problem, but I never get it without several tries and much consternation.
I get all the tips and then save them to a filw which I seldom access.:D
Today's tip though caught my attention as I have never been quite able to master squareness and the tape trick.:o
