I mostly make harps in my shop. I play harp and teach so my harps go to students, sale and rent. I've done some other small instruments and am getting set up to try making a few Native American Style Flutes. Although I haven't used the shopsmith for anything but a drill press for years (and a place to stack things on)...I'm going to see if I can get it going to use it as a lathe. I took a turning class at Woodcraft last weekend....what fun! Melanie

I'll attach a photo of my most recent harp if I can figure out how to do it. It's number 40. (I've been making harps for about 6 years.) Thank you for the picture, Melanie! Did you make all or part of that harp with your ShopSmith (I read about the drill press mode use, but knot the project)? I find harp music very beautiful.
