View Full Version : Accessory shelf adaptation

When Shopsmith had their "garage sale" back in October, I was able to pick up the newer version of the accessory shelf to replace the older model on my Shopsmith. I had assumed that it would fit the Storage station. It turns out the storage station is not shorter than the Mark V so I have plans to shorten one end and match the existing profile. I figure that, plus plywood cut to fit the span underneath the storage station should give me enough room for some mobile storage. I hope to accomplish this project this weekend and let you know how successful I was.

This project was successful! I also made a shelf that fits under the accessory stand. Now I have a place to place all of those attachments I use within easy reach. Now if can reorganize the rest of the shop...

That's what I did after I attached the shelf. I plan to post pictures, if I get the time between now and 12/25.
