It has been unusually cold this week around the Seattle area. I have found it difficult to get anything done in my garage shop or anywhere else around the house. Today it never got above 22 outside and with two space heaters running in the garage, I got the inside air temp up to a balmy 36 degrees. We haven't experienced this kind of cold for a long time around here. When I think about other parts of the country where every winter gets extreme, it makes me appreciate living where I do. I just wish that I had a better garage heating system. Oh well!!
We should be back to rain and the 40's soon I hope.
I have no particular reason for complaining about the weather, but I do want to take the opportunity to wish everyone a VERY HAPPY HOLIDAY AND A HEALTHY, SAFE NEW YEAR. Hopefully everyone can find ways to weather the economic storms that are facing us. Best Wishes to All, John McCrossen

John, I agree the weather has been strange this year. Just a week and a half ago our temps were in the mid 60"s, this week they have been in the
mid 30's to low 40's range. Not that that is really cold in comparision but when temps just jump all over the scale it is hard to get use to. I like you want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Hope we all will welcome in the New Year with good luck in our corners.
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night. Will check back tomorrow and see what has been going on.

Where in Tukwila do you buy pen kits? If you have to drive "down" to Tukwila, you must live closer to the Seattle WoodCraft store then to Tukwila.
BTW, I got 6" at my place.

At my place in Mich we got another 8 inces of snow yesterday and we had 20 + inces on the ground before. The temps have have only been above zero a couple of times since Thanksgiving and that was 2 days a week ago when it jumped to 40 for a day and a half which settleed the 2 foot of snow we had on the ground just to make room for more. I don't ever rember a Dec with this much cold or snow. This morning as I am getting ready to go ice fishing it is balmy -8 degrees. Everyone thank for all the help over the past year and have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, Ivan
