They say it is Guaranteed accurate to within .003". Has any one seen or heard of this? No reviews yet. It says When used with our 8" Stacked Dado Set, Dadonator™, could it not be used with any?

I've never seen one before, but it would appear to be one more measuring devise that I would loose in the shop. I have no need for accuracy to .003. Personally I'm happy getting within a 1/32nd. I'm sure a machinist would find a use for this....but its not for me.

I use a simple little adjustable height gauge that I purchased from Rockler (#37429). Lately I've been using it to set my dado flush with the table top and then use the stop collar to drop the table down to my required depth.

I've seen plans for shopmade versions... maybe even in one the older PTWFE.
I've got to say for the price one might want to make your own. Next time you set up to make a dado once you have it to the size you want, say for 1/4" plywood start making your gauge... next time maybe it will be for veneered MDF so again before you're done make a second cut in your gauge. Sooner of later you will have all the sizes you use with very little extra effort.
Just another idea for you.

IMHO it looks like it is just for use with that dado set. It has the markings to show what chippers, shims, etc. to use to fit each width dado for that particular set.

We ALL have 1/16" AND 3/32" chippers don't we???
