Hi,

To late tonight to listen to it all but what I did hear is interesting. The guy I heard was a retired shopsmith guy that ended his joy in Sept. after 25 years. The "normal" host I guess was out sick. I guess we will have to wait and see how this is seen by Shopsmith Inc. If you recall they didn't take to kindly to the other guy that was attempting to freelance when they did away with the traveling academy... If he is getting a pension they have a lot of control.

I guess we will wait and see on this one.

OK so I wasn't so tired anyway. I'm more then half way through the show. The host is Mike Young.

Take a look at:

I noticed you can download the previous shows as mp3 files and play them offline as you wish. They are not protected.

I did so, but then found that I don't really want to listen to the music and I got tired of trying to skip forward to find the talking portions. Maybe the idea is that you listen to the radio in your shop while working and pause when you here discussion that interests you.

No, this show is not for me. I don't like a radio in my shop. I wonder if he will get in copyright trouble for rebroadcasting the music?

I have to say the music was not much or so I say too much for me too.

I didn't find the downloadable mp3 for Sundays show, I'd like to see what they had to say on that one.

I really can't see sitting and listening to it but I guess if I were doing other things and had it on in the background maybe... never going to call in, many other ways to spend my money then on that. I only tuned in once to the web stuff with Nick... just don't like being tied to the tv/computer unless the stuff is really good... and then a half hour is plenty for even that. (For those that haven't listen in... as I understand it they will have a 2 hour show on Sat. and another 2 hours on Sun. or a total of 4 hours per week.)

I was thinking about the issue of copyright on the music as well.
