Question for Ed or Bill what good sources have you found in Florida??
Intercity Lumber on Causeway Blvd here in Tampa. And Craftsman Supply Center on Busch Blvd again here in Tampa. Both of these have domestic and exotic hardwoods and sheet stock. Craftsman also carries a fairly good supply of veneers and craft type lumber.
Peninsular Lumber on North Grady in Tampa.
Plus there are a number of wholesalers that specialize in Ply and cabinet grade veneers, many require a vendors license to shop in them but if you act like you know what your doing and are able to speak their language(commercial woodworking) many will do business with you.
Also we have a many marine plywood dealers in the area that also have quanties of Teak.
Over in St Pete they have Cocobolo Inc on 47th street that sells exotic hardwoods.
Also in Orlando there are also some good lumber dealers do a google on lumber and orlando.
