Here are few more pictures of my garage with my two goldies and a few other things I've been up to lately. Up until just recently it has been too cold to spend much time in there, but it is getting better. I am really looking forward to spring.

Poor man's router stand and planer stand. They work well.
3202
Easy to switch vacuum hoses between machines
3203
Extra carriage and table to left of headstock. Works well with fence and miter guage on left side as well as right side

Couple of small vanity drawers just finished. Made from leftovers.

Where did you hide the jointer? Do you use it on the goldie that has the bandsaw mounted on it? The extra table on the other one would I think cause a connecting problem to the jointer.

Hope it warms up soon! :) BTW What kind of birds live in a grain elevator?:D

Looks like a very functional shop, John! With everything on the floor on wheels. Not to worry! Warmer weather is coming.

jpg40504,
I have been using the jointer on the machine where the bandsaw is now. After the discussion about an extension coupling on another thread, I can see now see how I can use the jointer on the one with the extra table. I also thought about moving the extra table and carriage to the right side of the headstock. I think some people have done that. Either way, it is more difficult to use in drill press position with the extra carriage. Right now I do my drilling on the other machine.

I don't know what kind of birds will live in the grain elevator yet, but it was great practice for jointing, planing, and edge glueing scrap cedar fence board material. As long as there is no floor in upper apartment and no bottom, no problem.

Do you have a link on that extension coupling?

Nevermind, found it....
