I found this forum very helpful when faced with replacing by control sheave, speed changer & belts 2 months ago (after 17 years use), so here I am again.
I'd like to change my Mark V 510's table saw arbor (that holds the Shopsmith-standard 10" circular saw blade with the 1+ inch center hole) to one that accepts the more common 10" circular saw blades with the 5/8" center hole.
Has anyone done this & found a replacement arbor?

The Shopsmith headstock's 5/8" shaft would need a replacement arbor that would accept a 10" circular saw with a 5/8" center hole. I have searched quite a bit & haven't found a source and wonder if I'd need to have one manufactured at a machinist shop.

Has anyone done this & have you found a source for a replacement arbor?
Thanks in advance!
