I'm guessing the sawdust session DVDs might be produced "on demand". I ordered vol 1-6 and they were all backordered.

Then, a few days later, I got the "Spologies from Shopsmith" email giving me the opportunity to add to my order, at a special discount, ......

Hands-On CDs!:D

Paul,
Did you order the as 556058 at 59.95 as they were listed in the Father's day catalog or did you order them individually?? I was going to try ordering the set on Monday.

Just ordered today. Jan said there is a graphic that they need to have corrected on some of the series so the entire set it not available yet.

I think I have them on order also - it's been so long ago. I believe that this responsibility rests on Nick's shoulders rather than Shopsmith's.

8iowa is quite correct; it is on my shoulders. They are taking longer than expected because (1) they are much more time intensive than DVDs; (2) their completion requires skills I have to hire as cash flow allows, and (3) I cannot afford to turn down other work. I can only say I'm doing what I can and I rely on your patience.

With all good wishes,

Nick, are these the DVDs that were to be distributed to those who participated in that special test run?

Yes and no, Dusty. They are the DVDs that were supposed to have been distributed to folks who participated in our "Test Session" in late summer of 2007, but as you know from the PMs we exchanged, Drew and I lost the list of participants and didn't know who to send them to.

However, when Shopsmith discontinued the Sawdust Sessions and I packed up my office, I rediscovered the list! (Every cloud has its silver lining, however thin.) I have given Shopsmith the following list of names, and you guys should be receiving Sawdust Session #1 shortly:

Alan Byers
James Miller
Ken Jurjevich
Daryl Holtrop
Leonard Schroeder
Jim Sevilla
Ed Blough
John Casey
Dusty
Gary Reitz
Ed Reible
Paul Cohen
Jim Parks
Bob Stanich
Daryl Holtrop
Tom Walz
B. L. Hopfensperger
Chuck Wright
Rob Diggs
Bill Taylor

If there is anybody who thinks he should be on the list and isn't, ping me at nick@workshopcompanion.com . And Chuck W., I could use you zip code.

With all good wishes,
