Hi All,
Just to let everyone know that professional woodturner David Ellsworth will be coming to Fresno, CA for a one-day woodturning seminar. It is being sponsored by my local woodturning club and it is open to the public. The date is Wed., March 11, 2009, from 9 am to about 5 pm.
The tickets are $30.00 per person and well worth the price.
We will have a 7ft. wide digital projection screen set-up so you can see all the action taking place at the lathe. Hopefully, David will demo his 5-minute bowl-turning technique, along with several others, including vessel hollowing, etc. while here.
If anyone knows anything about woodturning, you know that David Ellsworth is the pioneer of modern-day woodturning and a founder of the American Association of Woodturners.
If you are in the area please try and make it. If you are interested in attending and need more info, please send me a private message or email.
