Thanks for the suggestion - I will go there. I live in Carlsbad CA. I have been 'conversing' with a potential buyer on CraigsList, and he is trying to lowball me with bully tactics. I'd rather deal with enthusiasts who sho a little respect for the equipment and the seller.

OP- it may not matter, but it is considered pretty egregious to come onto a forum that does allow sales to open your forum activity with "for sale." This forum is sponsored by Shopsmith- but anywhere else you will start with a huge misstep- of course, if the selling was all that interested you in the forum subject, then your early "participation demise" will be well deserved.Mike T.

I find it Interesting he speaks of 'respect' in #3. He must not have any mirrors in his world. I sent him a PM relative to #4 lack of integrity but I doubt he understood it. I referred him to SSUG, but I do not (NOW) think 'the store' is up and running. There are 2 SS on craigslist for San Diego (Carlsbad): one < $500 the other $2k. Any one care to guess which one is 'his'?;) :rolleyes:
