Is it true the SandFlee is 5-8 weeks backordered? If so that is good in this case. I want to get it on sale but don't want the credit card hit for a little while. In this case the backorder situation may actually want to order something.
Also has anyone gotten the Flee with the fence? If so how good is it and is it worth it? Any pictures of it anywhere. I didn't see it on Shopsmiths website.

Tim,
I purchased both the sand flee and the guide fence. I find it really handy. But then I am a clutz who needs all the guidance I can get. When I feel a little better I will post a picture. It won't be sitting on the 520 though as I can't lift anthing just now. fjimp

Thanks.
One more thing I forgot to ask - how big is it dimension-wise and how heavy is it as I'd need to plan where and how to store it. Short term I could keep it
on the Power Station but if it isn't too tall & deep, I may be able to put
it on some garage shelves I built and will organize one of these days.

You can download a Sand-flee brochure from the R.J.R. Studios web site, http://www.rjrstudios.com/
The brochure shows the original version with attached motor, not the Shopsmith version, which is of course powered by the Shopsmith headstock. But you get the general idea. My WAG is that the Shopsmith version weighs about 30 pounds. I'm sure the Shopsmith customer service people can give you the exact dimensions and weight.
The fence is very helpful. I just wish it was as quick and easy to attach and remove as the Shopsmith fence, but I guess I'm just spoiled.
The Sand-flee is not tall, but pretty wide and deep, so unless you have very deep shelves it'll stick out quite a bit. I keep mine on top of a 4-foot high storage cabinet.
