Wanted to say hi.

Left my rusty Mark V of 15 years behind in New York when I moved to Arizona, 3 years ago.

Thought I would get back into the sawdust and saw a Mark V yesterday at a garage sale, think it's a 1982 model. Paid $300 for it, it's in great shape, just going through the maintenance of cleaning and waxing, need to oil up the speed control.

Really sorry I sold off all my jigs and accessories, but that life.

I purchased my MKV in '83 and it's still hummin along. Now all you need is a jointer, bandsaw, dust collector, and..............You have quite an adventure ahead of you.

found a picture of my old SS.

Loved the shelf I built under it.
Looks like I might have to build another one.

It's a mess, I know it, but I was selling it at the time, don't work in that condition. Look a the rust on the joiner, NY moisture in an unheated garage can do a number.
