I think I'd rent a motel 6 and stay over. Actually, I'd take the camper and park at the academy location.

Hey Tim, speaking of the lathe, I've been using it a lot lately, been making a few bowls, some candle holders for my wife, (out of a walnut tree we cut down) they turned out pretty nice, even with the termite holes(which she likes) I made a bowl for my grandson, which he thought was the coolest thing (he's 4), I told him he could eat his breakfast cereal in it when he stays over.
I have an order of wood coming tomorrow, some canary and a piece of cocobolo, a little expensive, but Very Beautiful grain. Can't wait to put a finish on those!! Well later for now.
Happy Woodworking and God Bless!!:D

Hi Curly,
Sounds like you are having fun with your lathe. I have not used mine much, but that is going to change. My wife even got interested when she was watching a SS demo recently. She wants to give it a whirl. Good excuse to get more toys, er, I mean more tools!
