I happen to like the use of the word "ShopSmith" with two capital S's. What do you think?

ShopSmith is consistant with my 'normal' use of SS when referring to ShopSmith!

Tim,
I agree with you, I like the second part of the name capitalized but, in their copyright line on their webpages they use "© Copyright 2009 Shopsmith, Inc.". However, the SS logo does use ShopSmith with the two words over each other and using the drop-cap style of S. Also, their rotating ads in the banner line of this forum all use "Shopsmith" so I guess we should also use that format when referring to Shopsmith products...
I would also surmise that both styles are copyrighted and/or listed a registered trademarks. I haven't looked around the website but I'll bet we'd find a reference to it somewhere.
EDIT: Here is a link to the Shopsmith trademark information: http://www.shopsmith.com/ownersite/policies.htm#trademarks

I really never gave it much thought. I always type in Shopsmith, although I do see now, that the logo is with two capital S's

I see all capital letters in the SS logo. The S is just larger than the other letters:D ------Dave

Tim , I guess I should have used the quote feature. I just wanted to point out my observation of what I saw regarding the logo. I have seen members refer to the S in the logo being capitalized. Sorry if I took your thread off topic:( I promise I wont do it again:D ------Dave
