Enjoyed the post, Francis!:D
Then there are the woodworkers who make sacrifices to those woodworking gods. Fingers, or portions of them seem to be the most favored sacrificial parts. Hopefully these sacrifices make them better woodworkers. That, most likely depends on how much the sacrifice is appreciated, by both the gods and the woodworker him/her self.

I just realized I worship a few of those gods. Now I also realize I am not alone and feel better about spending cash on machinery and keep fixing it....
So much true in that text!
I can knot stop laughing!!! What exactly is a spelling angle??? I'll bet you are wishing for a friendly spelling angel about now!!! :D
I think I will cut up a few Spelling Angles out in the shop this morning and pray this will appease the Spelling Angels for a few days. Thanks Tim

I like the Article!
Sorry for my delayed response.... my excuses herein:
- Was busy resawing some plywood into veneer.
- Had too much coffee in the shop and was leaving often, but should now do better with my Shopsmith Euroguard.
- Got delayed procuring some Old Growth Wood, and using the Shopsmith Speed Reducer to treat it properly.
- Read about the corn-cob style pens, and was looking for the Colonel Sanders necessary to finish them.
