I found myself involved in verbal debate that I do not believe was healthy for myself nor was it healthy for the forum. My future participation will be quite different than it has been in the past.:)

Hmmmm..... I guess I missed something. I'm sorry to hear that, Dusty.

I'm not sure what you mean when you say your future participation will be quite different, but I hope you don't stop your contributions. I have always found your advice to be sound and helpful.

Dusty - As a relatively new member and finally Shopsmith owner, I value your instructions, advice, and comments.

Please do continue in your participation.

Dusty, I respect the statement that things were not healthy for you. To often we do not take those things as seriously and respond " Oh, don't worry you're fine". That is your call not mine. I do hope you will continue to be the incredible source for good advice you have always been.

I believe that I owe an explanation to all of the members of this forum. I do not intend to withdraw completely from the forum; I never did. I simply had to be sent to "sit in the corner" for awhile. My personal behavior on the forum (mostly in PMs) was unacceptable. I needed time to reflect on what I was allowing myself to do.

I will be here regularly. I cannot "not be". The exchanges I have here are far too important to me. My participation here and the personalities that I have met here helped to bring me through a period of my life that I do not want to revisit. Woodworking and my Shopsmith association have been instrumental in bringing me through that recovery period. I shall not leave on my own - believe me.

I will, however, limit my own participation to discussions related to the true subject of this forum - Woodworking and activities directly related. I will not hesitate to express "opinions" in so far as they relate to woodworking and the Shopsmith line of equipment.

When I falter, I will appreciate being told that I have done so.

Those that choose knot to participate in non-woodworking discussions, please do knot judge what others post there. It is allowed.
