Happy Fathers Day to all you Dad's out there. I lost my dad when I was 9 years old and I'm 70 now. There is not a day to go by that I have not thought of him or needed him in some way. Being a dad to my two girls has simply been one of life's great privlidges. I hope in some way, all you guys out there have felt the joy I have.

My father pasted away when I was 16. My wife also lost her father when she was 14. I am 47. She is 46. I have 3 beautiful children (19yrold girl, 11 yr old 13 yrold boys). I try to spend more time w/them now that I retired from the Navy. It was hard being out to sea and missing b-days. Like Harry Chapin says "He (they) learned to walk while I was away".
