Again I'm late starting this. I tried Sunday but the site was not working for me at that time. This weeks read is on Sharpening. There is a pretty good discussion of the several ways to use the Shopsmith to sharpen. I've tried most of them and may be able to help answer questions. However, fair warning, I really consider myself an amateur sharpener.

Most people probably know it, but Nick did a couple of good Sawdust Sessions on sharpening.

I think tool-sharpening on the Shopsmith is a nice way to mentally relate back to hand-tools, if coming from the aspect of a lot of machine tool usage.

Has any one used the SS grinding wheel to sharpen jointer knives?
