hi all my name is jim i am carpenter by trade ate a lot of sawdust over last 35 yrs i owned a shopshith 25 yrs ago due to yuongkids at home and economics i let it go recently i have bought a used 25 yrs old markv love it enjoy the time back in my shop building toys especially heavy equipment dozers loaders i have enjoyed this forum alot have answered a lot of ?'s

Glad that some answers have been found by you. There are a lot of helpful people on this forum so please don't hesitate asking questions. I have discovered that there are a lot of differing opinions:confused: and not too much "heat" between the parties involved. Mostly, everyone wants to get it right, and there is more than one right way to do almost everything:) .

Welcome Jim. I also enjoy this board. I check it at least 5 or 6 times a week and was surprised at how willing everyone is to help someone with a question. There is a tremendous amount of knowledge out there that everyone is willing to share. All you have to do is ask.

Welcome Jim, I too enjoy making toys and the shopsmith is a great tool for that. I have also built cabinets and am currently building a chest on chest drawer. There is a lot of info here to stick around you will find something interesting.:)
