Great job!

Exterior-wise I see the latest OEM casters from Shopsmith fitted to the old mechanisms. How much did you do to the inside of the headstock?

Thanks Chuck and Chris. Nuhobby(Chris) , I tore the headstock all the way down and checked all components. I left this one a Gilmer drive . Replaced belts and put in a new idler shaft assembly. This unit runs very smooth. I almost wish I had left my other Greenie a Gilmer drive. I have one more 1955 that is mostly complete but I will use that one for parts to support the other 2 Greenies. This will be my last restore for a while. ---Dave

Just purchased (3) Greenies. Two are 1957 models and not sure what year
3rd is as am missing plate for serial number. Is there another way to date unit? They are mostly broke down and in boxes. Appears someone had planned on refurbishing. Have first one assembled and running. Trying to decide if sould repaint unit or leave as is and paint next two.
Also picked up two jigsaws in another box. Not sure how to assemble. Any ideas where I might get manual?
I will get pictures and start new thread as I get started working on.
