It is suppose to be 57 here tonight and high 80s :) this weekend. Not bad for Aug, it is usually in the 100s.:(

I'm not sure about that... I was just watching a PBS thing this morning that I had seen before where they were talking about civil war photographers dragging bodies "into the shot" to improve it and also them "borrowing" items like guns etc. from nearby bodies to dress up the shot... Those first cameras would not take action shots since on a dismal day it might have taken almost a 30 second exposure to get a picture.
Apparently they have lied from the beginning. :)

If there was no post photos processing, my wife would be out of work!!! She runs her own photo restoration business. Other than the usual fixing up of damaged photos and normal restoration work, you'd be amazed at the requests she gets and successfully does for people wanting images altered. Adding / removing people is VERY common. People who have had cosmetic surgery also like to have their old photos doctored up with their NEW features so that they can show them to others without the photos blowing their cover. She's even worked for police departments reconstructing images so that they could be published in newspapers for ID'ing. The horse Seabiscuit... she touched up a photo that was used in the movie because it was taken of him after he had retired and he had put on a couple extra pound. Had to slim him down a tad.

Your right though JPG, you really can't trust photos anymore. Unless you see it for yourself OR have the negative film in hand.....you just don't know anymore.
