Recently an illegal advertising post was removed from this forum. Rightly so.
Before it was removed I bookmarked the site cuz I am putting together a router table. The "store" address was listed as Clermont Fl and seeing that I am about 8 miles from Clermont I decided to go check out this new store.
What I found was a pack and ship store that had some mail drops and the clerk at the store verified that this company is a client.
So anyone that might think about taking a ride to see the "store" don't bother.
There is no physical presence at the address.

Sounds like a store front to avoid. Do you happen to know the name of the outlet.

I did not see the original "illegal"post nor do I know anything about this retailer, but here's my two cents..I think we all would be surprised by how many of the companies with which we do business are little more than drop and ship operations. Much to my dismay,Woodworking is a niche hobby. Router accessories a small part of that niche. The market is not likely to support many brick and mortar stores, especially start ups. I feel fortunate that I'm only a half an hour from a Rockler store. I would have to drive another hour to find the next dedicated Woodworking store and I'm in a large metro area. I've learned to appreciate the small mom and pop, kitchen table operations that support my various hobbies. Don't dismiss the little guys.

I agree that the small (mom and pop) operations are valuable resources for hobbyists like we are. However, if they operate out of a store front such as this APPEARS to be, they can disappear over night.

That is what I fear. If you know an operation like this to be reliable and trustworthy, then you have a gold mine.

Dusty, We're on the same page. Always have to watch out for the "fly by night" operators.
