The following pictures are of some weekend projects I've been working on.

These three were turned over the last couple of weekends. theres a forth thats not pictured. Couldn't complete it just yet and it's not quite as forum worthy as these three. The problem is that I bought the wood so long ago I forgot what it is. :eek:

Here's the ten inch. I know its made out of wood, but thats about it. Also I "fixed" the settings on my camera the other day, hence the horrible color and resolution... I'm really not that technologically advanced

8" with some sort of wood. This is becoming a problem, I should probably label my stock... nah :D

8"... cherry... perhaps... nice little burl on it surprised me when it was all said an done! I think it's cherry :o

Here's a purpleheart mill that I turned years ago; one of my first... no plan, no design, just a chisel and some spinning wood. The mortar (far right) is mahogany, and the mojito masher (far left) and the honey dipper (2nd from left) are made from some wood I got from a buddy in Portugal; again, no idea what type of wood it is.
The purpleheart mill was turned as one of my first; it actually ended up back on the lathe a second time to tighten it up. Turned out much better the second time... yeah, you should've seen it before :D
