I think I learned more about the saw reading this thread than I ever knew before! What happens for me on these threads is that I get to see a more" Whole" view of the machines. It is a much more interrelated picture, and hence more helpful to a less experienced wood worker. THANKS :D
Most of what has been presented by posts to this thread is straight out of the manual! The exceptions being the bearing alterations some have made and some descriptions(hopefully accurate) of why what is there is there. Add to that a bit of been there done that information. The descriptions and experience is what makes this forum so beneficial.
Just overlook the occasional differences of 'opinion'(they also provide invaluable insight and self examination by the holder of an opposing opinion). So even the self anointed 'gurus' learn from these discussions.
