Dear Shopsmith Santa,

I have been a very good boy this year. I made my wife some kitchen cabinets, I built her a shed in the back yard for all her gardening, and I built some shelves for the garage. I have kept my shop clean, and taken care of my tools. I think I have been extra good, so I would like to ask for something special.

What I want for Christmas this year is a Shopsmith Mark V Power Pro Headstock with state-of-the-art Digital Variable Reluctance motor that delivers 1-1/2 times to over 2-1/2 times the horsepower and torque of my current headstock, digital keypad controls that offer a much broader range of speed control and reversing, and compatibility with all my existing Special Purpose Tools. I know that all of your elves are working hard to make Shopsmith Mark V Power Pro Headstocks so that all the good boys and girls can get one.

It would be a wonderful Christmas if you could give me one of those on December 25th. But if it will be a little later, that's OK - can you just let me know when I can expect it?

Please Shopsmith Santa? It would be sad if all I got this year was a lump of coal.

Until I read your location I was hoping some wise person at Shopsmith had designed a clever way of building up my hopes for Christmas as well. When I determined your location I figured, yeah only a gentleman from Virginia could dream that big. Congratulations. Luckily, Santa has always traveled with a very large sleigh and some hardy reindeer, as he will have my PowerPro when it is available.:D
