This is the first time in over 2 years I had to heat my shop to work--it was 29 degrees in the shop. I know you east coast guys laugh, but when it gets in the forties here in N. Calif we put on our down jackets.

Boy I bet you couldn't get the door open with that much snow. What did it do melt away in no time? :D :D I guess that is why they call it Snowflake, AZ.

Yep, gone by 10:00 am.
Door opens in. Planned for the snow.:D
Snowflake named for it's founders, a Mr. Snow and a Mr. Flake....honest. Mormon pioneers.

I love AZ. Lots of great beaches....no water.

It'll be OK, Gene. At least your weather is better than this.

Lessee......13 inches here....didn't get plowed out until 2 PM. No power for 26 hours.......half the access road closed due to a down tree.

I REALLY need to make the move to Tampa a priority instead of starting the shop build.

It’s a month before Christmas, and boy is it hot
The windows are open, the heater is not.
Some how in December you’d think it’d be cool
Instead we are thinking of heating the pool.:D

Our weather has been a roller coaster. On day low 80's next day low 50's next day high 70's, next day high 40's. Two days ago I woke up to near 80 weather when I went to bed it was 52. That might not seem like much to those having 20 and 30 degree weather but 30 degree drop in few hours is hard to adjust to.

Plus since we usually have so much humidity here in Florida at 40 degrees I'm colder than I was when I lived up north and had zero degrees. I kept an old winter jacket from the north more or less as a joke. After the first year and be acclimated I now have to drag it out for a day or two here in Florida.

Yes it is nice without the snow but having to mow the lawn around Christmas takes the edge off the holiday spirit. And going to football game drinking iced tea instead of hot chocolate and wearing shorts and tee shirt instead of school scarfs and flannel jackets sort of takes the edge off also. As does deer hunting and keeping you eye peeled for snakes, worrying about sunburn and mosquitos.
