Is it the spur center you need? Part "A" in this image?

You might want to contact Skip Campbell. He's the 10ER guru that runs the 10ER yahoo group. He might have an extra and it would be a local pickup. At least I'm pretty sure he's in the Dallas / Ft. Worth area.
Yes, I need part "A", but it's not for a 10ER it's for a 500 (they may be the same, however).

Yep, they're pretty much the same. The only difference I can tell between the one that came with my ER and the one that came with my Mk V 500 is that the ER's is shiny and the MK V's is black.

As an alternative, you can get a Shopsmith Safe Driver from oneway (http://oneway.ca/spindle/safe_drivers.htm). No spurs- it drives the wood by pressure between the headstock and tailstock. Iif you get a catch, the wood just stops spinning, so it's safer for us rookies.

I didn't realize that OneWay had all those parts and pieces for lathe's! Very interesting. As a correction, the link is missing a few pieces to work well:

Very cool site! I have got to get me one of those Talon chucks for my 510!

cjacobus1, I was cleaning up and rearranging my shop today and realized I have one more lathe drive center than I thought I did. If you still need one and will cover the shipping costs, I'll send it to you. Just PM me your address.
