On-Line Product Manuals
Where have they gone? It seems like ages ago, maybe it was just months, we heard that there were going to be some new procedures posted on-line. Okay, all good things take time. Be patient.
But what happened to the procedures that were there? They worked really well, at least I thought they did. They must have, they were essentially the same procedures that are contained in the manuals that come with a Shopsmith.
Maybe they were taken away so that when the new procedures are finally released we will be really pleased. Assuming, of course, that they will again be released on-line.
I happen to have those procedures, on my computer, in PDF format. I refer back to them often.
QUESTION:
Is it a copyright violation to use (re-release) them in response to questions asked on this forum?
Sure would like to hear direct from Shopsmith on this one? It seems that since Shopsmith released them to the web it would not now be a violation to reference them but I am not a copyright lawyer and I sure don't what to tangle with someone who is.
