This is my 1st time on this site. I apologize for jumping into the middle of this thread, but it sounds like you may be able to help me or direct me to someone that can.

I have a Shopsmith that I had bought at a garage sale about 25 years or more ago. I've not used it much do and it appears to have all the attachments. The only rust is on the tube rails. I just finally got it out of storage and thought I would clean it up and sell it. After a little thought and reviewing several Shopsmith related sites on what all I can do with it, I have second thoughts. I'm finally getting settled down enough to actually use it. May even attempt to restore it.

I would like to find out what year it was made. It was built by Magna in San Francisco and the Model is an ER (I assume a 10ER), S/N R35743. Can you help?

NOPE. I think it would violate the terms of the agreement.

We can't help people find a Shopsmith? Is it wrong to post links to Shopsmith sales/trades?

Based on the SN, from the database over on the Yahoo 10ER group it was born in the mid to later part of 1950.
