View Full Version : Pens From Leftovers
Just before our Woodcraft store closed there doors I got a large bag of there assorted wood pen blanks There is always a ½ or so piece of wood left once the blank is cut. I had been toughing those in a box an every now and then I would cut the left over in to 1/8 inch slices. A few weeks ago I glued up three pens worth of the leftovers. They made some nice pens. This is the only one I got a photo of the others went fast. My wife clamed this one.

CV,
Beautiful. I also have been saving scraps of wood and one day will use them. I hope my scrap pile becomes as beautiful as yours did. I have a large trash can filled with scraps of various hardwoods left from projects. A friend recently offered to carry them home and burn them as kindling. Now each time he helps in the shop I use care to select scraps to use in whatever we are designing. I always get a smile. Jim
