I've using sketchup a far amount the last couple of day. I've gotten back into it after a long layoff but now I'm remembering how to do things again so it has become a useful tool.
I've been playing with design iterations and testing different ideas which is great since I can't be in the shop actually trying things(winter conditions). But I fear I might have been on a little tooooo long.
I'm over looking at a thread with the kreg router table and before I even thought about it I pushed the wheel on my mouse and attempted to rotate the image so I could see it from a side view. I think that clearly indicates to much time on the program.
Anyone else tried to do that or similar?

Good one Ed!! Can't say I've ever done that before but I have tried pushing the clutch in on my automatic transmission Ford Expedition after driving a stick for an afternoon. Had it not been for the seatbelt, I would have put myself through the windshield.

That's funny, Ed! Sounds like something I'd do.
When in Mom's car, I've been known to flick my right hand up to the back of the steering wheel to change from reverse to drive. Ooopps! Her shifter is on the floor!

I am glad to here this. I thought something was wrong with me as I find myself doing that often especially when viewing pictures or drawings.:o :o
I wish I had not opened this tread. I had not seen or heard of Sketchup tell today. So I Googled to see what it was. And now I am stuck in it. :D
Looks like a great tool.
