I have been fighting an over-powering urge to go into hibernation... Meanwhile... We allow some of the local boy scouts to use a few parts of the farm like an unofficial scout camp. It has been running about 12° at night and 28° in the daytime and there is drifted snow all over the place but they had a cook-out and hayride back at the back corner last night. Not me... Throw in some more wood, hand me that light blanket, something to drink, a DVD from Net-flix and stick me in my Lazy-boy... :D :D

I have an old thermometer here someplace that says, "First it blowed, then it snowed, now by jing, its frizzed".
:)
At the risk of getting banished here, let me share!
Since last Friday, (the 12th) it has hit 78 (or higher) every day! It does get cool enough to sleep, though. Dusty can vouch for me, but we both know that the infamous Az summer is right around the corner.

My wife and I sat in the spa this afternoon. Clear sky, about 80 in the afternoon. Didn't get much done, but that's all right.
I really hate California politics...just not enough to leave.

I was hired to repair a split rail fence today. Sun was shining, Daffodils blooming and gals riding horses in t-shirts. It is really hard to comprehend how cold it is for some of you:rolleyes: unfathomable
