I assumed she was included in 'family'...

Hi,
Interesting that you're really into guitars.
About 15 years ago when I was rich and single, I had several flings with expensive acoustic guitars. After getting more honest with myself, I realized I wasn't such a great player to justify a lot of scarce wood wrapped up in my guitars.
What has changed (among other things) after marriage is having a bigger house and some room for tool acquisitions. I've found woodworking projects are a very nice creative outlet. One day I should get brave and try making a guitar like so many people have done.
Otherwise my favorite things are like many have said before. Besides these, the Internet almost gets ignored, but wow, what a great thing!

Sorry! I just never thought of 'family' as a 'thing'. Individuals, YES; inanimate object(s), NO!
Family be people, not objects!
Guess my 'point' was a bit subtle!:D

Next to family comes friends.
Don't have a favorite "Thing". I really like our dog (or anyone else's, for that matter). Don't consider animals as things, either.
Tools are things, though I often talk to them as if they weren't. Some do seem to have minds of their own.:)
Dawns are nice. So are sunsets. And, at my age, most of the rest of the day is good, too.:D
