I have a Mark V that was bought in 1979 that I am reviving. I misplaced the quill feed handle and bought a new one, that came with a hub and is fine to use for the quill feed on the drill press or horizontal borer. However - the handle seems to have a slightly different thread pitch than the fitting on the saw table, it can't screw into it and be used to adjust the table height.
My question, does anyone know the pitch of the thread on the older handles? If I know that I can simply get a long bolt of that thread pitch and make a handle out of it. Or I could find the old one, but that seems like a longer shot.
Thanks!

This does not compute! All the mark 5 / mark V handles are identical. The knob shape is longer and smaller in diameter on the 'later' ones. I am not aware the thread has changed. IIRC they are 3/8-16. Even the model 10 handles have that same thread. I am away from home so all this is 'recollection'!
P.S. The 'later/skinnier' ones come in both red and black.

Never mind, it seems like the problem was that the old threads for the table adjustment hub had some crud in them. After cleaning it and carefully threading it a few times, it's fine. However I appreciate the info about the thread size, because I may just make a second handle for convenience.
Thanks!

... is skinny and black. My old one if I recall correctly was red and stubby, I will look around and see if I can find it, it has to be here somewhere!

If you cannot, the offer stands!:) Ya really need two so you do not have to switch them. It is bad enough to have to move from side to side on the quill!
