Yesterday we drove down to Ft Myers, and picked up a "Greenie mini", with an extension table..
I believe the power head is a 1956.
It's in pretty good shape. Original 3/4HP motor, and "gilmor belt".
It runs up and down smoothly, and it's not noisy.
The guy I bought from said the prior owner rebuilt it. It does have a new power cord. The insides are very clean.
This has a access hole, and a spring held cover plate, the same as my 1973 MKV. I don't know if this was original, or was modified?
The guy I bought it from had started to paint it. He got the legs, and ends painted.
The only problem I see so far is that when he reassembled the foot levers on the casters, he installed them backwards!!
I plan on using this just for the band saw, and belt sander.10117

Regarding assembling the wheel assembly backwards. I have been known to do that intentionally. In my last shop I had a space issue and discovered that was the best way to set up one of my 520's. fjimp

Mine are not all the same. Does that mean some of them are WRONG?

The foot pedals on the mini are on the shaft 'upside down', not backwards. Foot pedals in front or rear is a matter of personal preference.;)

The curved part faces down. On my regular 500, the curved part faces up.
Facing down makes it a pain to use for me.
