I wanted to say Hi to everyone. I bought my mk5 new in 92 and used it alot then, in 97 I got divorced and the only thing we fought over was the MK5, my accessories, (scroll saw, lathe dup, jointer, etc) and the new router I bought. I won! He only made pen & pencile sets with it. It was my baby. I packed her up and move back to Michigan.

She has been in storage for the past 9 years, until I could find a place where I could start working again with her and I have it now. I got her home and told my b/f not to start her up, but he did anyway, thank goodness she sounded ok. (can't trust that guy, if there is a button or lever, he'll try it, and never take him down the toy isle in the store).
I know before I can work with her again, she needs some major cleaning and oiling, waxing and tender care first, and I also need to get the manuals again. So far reading the different posts I have found all most all of the information I was seeking. This is a great forum - Thanks for that. I can't wait to start working with her again. :)
