I got the email offer for the lathe chisels, but it doesn't say much about them. Does anybody know if they are high speed steel? The offer ends at midnight so I need an answer soon if possible. Thanks.

I bought the bowl chisel set in April of this year, and they're all high speed steel. I don't know about the pen set or the miniature set. Call the 1-800 number for ShopSmith and ask for tech support- those guys and gals know everything, and if they don't know the answer themselves, they know whom to call to find out.
